Daniel Jensen
Diesel Technician

Daniel Jensen returned to Champion Coach in September 2016 as a Diesel Technician. He first joined our maintenance team in November of 2012, and in 2014 took time off to renovate his house, get married, and settle down in his hometown of Six Mile, SC. Daniel graduated with honors from Greenville Technical College where he earned a diploma in Diesel Mechanics. His ability to “fix anything” and technical background has allowed him to become a tremendous asset to the Champion Coach maintenance team and to keep the fleet in top condition. With years of experience working on commercial vehicles, Daniel has an understanding of diesel equipment systems with an emphasis on motorcoaches. He makes sure every motorcoach has been thoroughly inspected and examined so our professional drivers and travelers can enjoy their trip with confidence knowing their bus is safe.

Nicknames are popular around Champion Coach and Daniel has earned the title of, “Big Country”, which suits him perfectly. According to Daniel, “if you can grow it, eat it or drive it, I like it.” Every April and September you will find him in Pigeon Forge at the Tennessee Rod Runs. He serves as a sponsor for Live Wire Youth Ministry at his church.

For a fellow who says he likes to keep life simple and stay behind the scenes, Daniel is involved in many varied activities. He loves to cook and works out regularly at the fitness club he owns with his wife, Nicole. Regarding his work at Champion Coach, Daniel says, “I love it! I just love working on buses and keeping them in great mechanical condition.” Daniel is the son of David Jensen, one of Champion’s finest drivers.
