Scott Frost
Safety & Compliance Manager

Scott joined Champion Coach as a full time driver in April of 2007. He graduated from Erskine Theological Seminary in December of 2006 completing an MA in theological studies. In 2008, Scott began teaching at Southern Wesleyan University and continued to drive part-time. Prior to completing his degrees and working at Champion, Scott served for 20 years in the United States Navy as an air traffic controller/officer. Following his Navy career, he worked as a felony investigator for the Public Defender’s Office in Key West, Florida.

Returning to Champion Coach in 2014, Scott brings years of experience in driving, knowledge in safety and regulations compliance (DOT and FAA), and proficiency in training and instruction. In his role as Safety and Compliance Manager, Scott’s main goal is to keep drivers and vehicles up-to-date with federal DOT and state laws as well as company policies and procedures.

Scott, an ordained minister, lives in Central with his wife, Dana. They have raised two children after settling in the upstate area. Kara, the eldest, graduated from USC in 2009 and from Maryland Law School in 2012. Collin graduated from Southern Wesleyan in 2013. On his days off, Scott enjoys golf and fishing. Both Scott and Dana love to spend time with family, travel, and give time to teaching and volunteering at their church.
